I find Lewis' book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Mere-Christianity-C-S-Lewis/dp/0060652926" rel="nofollow">Mere Christianity</a> a true gem.<br /><br />Interestingly, Tolkien and Lewis were friends and colleagues.
